Hello 2026!

What are my plans?

Happy New Year!

I truly hope you had a happy, restful Christmastide.

Hubby and I managed to do some socialising and resting. Cheesemas was muchly enjoyed. But now it’s time to get back to author life. And maybe some healthy stuffs.

2025 was a very productive year for me - unusually so. I might’ve mentioned it (*wink wink*), but I launched THREE books. Look, this is unheard of for me, and I’ve been doing this almost 13 years, so forgive me for celebrating that.

Illness kept plaguing me this past year too, including one particularly nasty, long-lasting flu.

The other reason I’ve been celebrating my releases so much is that I’m just not sure if I will manage to publish ANY in 2026! (*shocked face*)

My next novel is likely to demand a LOT more research. Plus, y’know, there’s actually writing and editing the thing.

I MAY have one little idea for another book, but that will involve me putting my Big Girl Pants on - it’s a bit daunting.

However, I have plans. And that counts. Right? Right??

And I will, of course, still be typing away for you here. I may start sharing some of my Interregnum notes as I go - phew, it was a tumultuous time! Fascinating, though.

I’m also hoping to do a lot more ‘to camera’ videos on TikTok. Are you on there? What would you like to see - more medieval fun facts / writing tips / book teasers???
